Condolences
Please accept my condolences . Bernard was my roommate at St. F.X. way back in time. We had become close friends in a very short time. After our days at "X'', we went our separate ways, but I never forgot the friendship we had formed. Whenever I would meet anyone from Louisdale, my first question was always "Do you happen to know Bernard Samson ? I just heard of his passing today. He will watch over you as he has done for many years. A true gentleman and friend to so many people. God's blessings on you, his family.
Condolences to the family and friends. He was always so jovial. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.
Eula,Carla and to all Bernie's extended family please accept our sincerest condolences at this time of grief. I remember fondly our times together at Saint FX in the early 60s with and conversation with the Louisdalers.
Eula Carla and family as well as Bernie's family our sincerest condolences. Pierre and I can not be with you during this difficult time, but please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Bernie's smile and uplifting personality will forever remain with us. Take care and may God bless you all.

Eula, Carla and family, So very saddened to hear about Bernie's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.
Eula, Our sincere condolences on your loss. Bernie was a remarkable person; his infectious smile and laughter will certainly be missed but I hope the fond memories will offer some comfort. Reflecting on my own memories, Christmas eve wouldn’t be complete without a visit from Bernie, a beer, a really firm handshake and some great laughs. His absence will certainly be felt this holiday season and Christmas Eve will feel particularly empty at 27 Boudreau’s lane but rest assured that I…make that we…will always make a point to raise a glass that night and toast a special person and dear friend. We sincerely wish we could be there with you all to celebrate Bernie’s life. With deepest sympathy and a whole pile of love, Kevin, AnnMaire, Zach and Olivia.
We are so sorry to hear that Bernie has passed away. Brian and I have both had the pleasure of being in his classroom, and many of his traits have rubbed off on us to this day. Bernie could both make a joke and take a joke. He always had time for a chat with a student at school, or with a former student many years later at the ballfield. A devoted father and community member- he will be missed by many. We extend our condolences to Eula, Carla & family (and Emma wants to send a message of sympathy to Samantha too) ... "As you mourn his loss, please take the time this week to celebrate Bernie's life" XO
Eula, Carla & family, Some people just bring the very best out of you because you aspire to be like them. Bernie was one of these individuals. Kind, always happy, polite, courteous, unassuming, caring, etc. The list of pleasant things to say about your husband and dad are endlessly good. Though the pain will linger for a while as you grieve, the ensuing days will bring forth memories of the fine human being he was to many. And these memories will bring a smile and contentment to your faces just as Bernie did to the many friends, colleagues, students and ball players he touched. Regrettably, we are unable to make it down home due to a school commitment. Nevertheless, we are thinking of all of you at this time. How lucky we all were to have known him for so long ! May God Bless !
It was with much sadness that I heard of Bernard's passing. He was a great teacher who once told me in high school that I could "do better" and he was right! I never forgot his kindness and humour, and try to bring both to my classroom today. With sincere condolences, Jackie (Kehoe) Snooks
Dear Eula and family We were heartbroken to hear about Bernie's passing. He was a dear colleague as well as a dear friend. You could always count on him for a smile to lift you up. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Dear Carla and Family: I am so very sorry to hear this news. Your father is one of the fondest memories of my first year at IMDH. His warm smile, quick wit and easy manner made me feel so welcome at the big school on the "island". He treated his students as young adults and made our worries seem small and surmountable. As loving as he was to his students, I can only imagine how he was as the head of his family. My deepest sympathies to all for this loss.
Dearest Eula, Carla & Family of Bernie: Wanting you all to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time. Certainly Bernie was well loved and respected by many, he was a "happy soul" and will always be remembered for his humour and kindness. Praying for strength and courage during this time and the days ahead, hugs to all.
Dear (Madame) Eula, Carla and family: I am so sorry to hear of Bernard's passing. He was such a remarkable biology teacher...I can still hear his laughter at my hesitancy to cut up that poor frog in the lab at IMDH back in the late 70's! He also gave up his time to teach our science class during lunch hour in my final high school year! Always a smile on his face and his students' well-being a priority. A friend gave me a prayer card back in 1995 that I always kept taped to my computer monitor that reads "Lord, remind me that nothing will happen to me today that You and I can't handle together" May God keep you comforted in His loving arms as you journey through this time of grief and sorrow, until you are reunited with Bernard. RIP Monsieur Bernard.
Eula, Mary, Zelia and families: Thinking of you all, dear cousins, with a heavy heart! Your memories will help you through as well as the fact that Bernie is no longer suffering. Many hugs to you all!

Zelia and Mary, so sorry to hear of the passing of your brother Bernie. I will never forget Bernard, which is how I called him back in the early 60's when I lived next door up on the hill in Louisdale. One summer he asked me to go drive the tractor so he could maneuver the plow manually behind the tractor to plow the field across the brook. I was only 11 years old and told him I didn't know how and that I had never driven anything motorized. He told me not to worry, he'd teach me how and I'd be okay....he was right. He patiently showed me everything and it went great. To this day, when I pass by a farm with tractors outside, I have often looked back at those 2 summers at how excited I was as a kid when he taught me to drive that tractor. May he REST IN PEACE.
My condolence, to Eula,,Zelia Mary and family. He was my favourite teacher, and a real comedian. He always had a smile. May you find comfort in your memories of him.

I am very sorry for your loss. I personally know that it is never easy to lose a loved one. Isn’t it comforting to know that there will be a time where no one would die or suffer any more? At Revelation 21:4 we find a wonderful hope for the future. It says " And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry. nor pain be anymore, the former things have passed away." Yes, there will soon be a time where no one will ever die again, and even better we can see our loved ones that have passed! Again I am terribly sorry for your loss, you and your family are in our prayers through this hard time. If you have further questions visit Jw.org.
