SAMSON, MARY BERNADINE-68, Sampson’s Cove

It is with deep sadness and regret that we announce the passing of Mary Bernadine Samson, 68 of Sampson's Cove who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at St. Anne Centre in Arichat, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Arichat, on July 16, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Etienne Samson and Mary Constance Samson. She is survived by her sister, Muriel Samson, Sampson's Cove, brothers, Etienne Samson (Anne), Petit De Grat, Leon Samson (Patsy), Sampson's Cove, along with numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins and many friends.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Beverly Arsenault.   Bernadine was predeceased by her sister, Mary Lillian (Samson) Boudreau and brother-in-law, Joseph Henry Boudreau.  Bernadine was employed at Booth's Fisheries, Richmond Fisheries and Scotia Rainbow.  She was an avid sports enthusiast and was a softball player with the Little Anse Red Devils baseball team. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat on Friday, May 18th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Private funeral service and burial at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Family. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H.Boudreau Funeral Home Ltd, Arichat.
