Leonard was one of a kind. Over the years, he was so amazing to Daren and I. Our kids loved to go to the market. He went above and behind for so many families. His heart could not have been bigger. We will miss you Leonard.

In the realm of the tiny, there was a giant—Leonard, or as we fondly dubbed him, Papous. His statute, in his youth, belied his mighty presence by cordiality and genial spirit. Many moons have passed since those glorious days at West Arichat with Leonard and his brother Wilfred. Despite his shy demeanor, he wove magic with words that packed quite the punchline. Remembering those golden times back at mon Oncle Amédée’s and tante Clara's always brings a smile. The maestro of one-liners rests now - adieu to Papous!
Remembered fondly. Rest in Peace

I want to send my condolences to the Lavandier family on the passing of Leonard. Leonard was a good family friend for many years. I remember making Sunday morning visits with my Father to watch them play cards (45). It was good entertainment for a young fellow.
I had the pleasure of visiting Leonard last year while in the area visiting and of course we shared a few laughs. .
