Obituary of John Edward Pertus

PERTUS, John Edward. - 75, Poulamon, passed away at Inverary Manor in Inverness on August 4, 2007. Born in Poulamon, he was the son of the late James Xavier and Margaret (Doyle) Pertus. He was a former employee with the Richmond District School Board and was a teacher at Isle Madame District High School in Arichat. He is survived by his sons, Arthur, Dartmouth, Michael (Ginette) Port Hawkesbury; grandchildren Jeremy and Jason; brother, Pat (Pat) Pertus, Petit De Grat. He was predeceased by his wife, Flora Marie (Martin) Pertus. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday afternoon, at 2:00pm in St. Hyacinth Church in D'Escousse, with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Burial to follow in St. Hyacinth Parish Cemetery, D'Escousse. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association (NS).
