BURNS, Mary Sarah, - 75, West Arichat, passed away at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston on August 5, 2007. Born in Inverness, she was the daughter of the late James and Penelope (MacIsaac) Doyle. Sarah loved to step dance, cook and read. She was a past member of the Immaculate Conception C.W.L., and was devoted to St. Anne.
She is survived by her son, James Albert (Elizabeth), Hamilton, Ont.; daughter Ida Anne Claire Burns, West Arichat; sisters, Florence Bois (Ivan), New Waterford, Theresa McKenzie, South West Margaree, Ann Mulock (Bill), Ottawa, step-sister Ann Isabelle Boudreau (Ken), NB; brother James, New Waterford, step-brother John; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.. She was predeceased by her husband Abraham; son, Vincent; sister Peggy; brothers, John, Kyte, Joe, Henry. Visitation will be held today from 2-4 & 7-9pm in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate the life of Sarah, will be held Tuesday morning at 11am in the Immaculate Conception Church in West Arichat with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, West Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society.
