Obituary of Annie Florence LeLacheur

LeLacheur, Annie Florence, 67 of Lennox Passage, passed away March 17, 2012, at the Strait Richmond Hospital, in Evanston. Born in Dundee, she was a daughter of the late Florence Susan and John George (Smith) MacRae.
She was a member of the Garden Club in St. George's Chanel and enjoyed planting and fixing the flowers at the Welcome sign coming into Grand Anse. She was a Steward with the West Bay Pastoral Unit, loved nature, bird watching, sewing, playing cards, talent shows, her drives to Marble Mountain in the Fall, and her walk when it was snowing and there were big snowflakes falling straight down. She dearly loved they times she shared watching movies or coloring with her grandson Morgan. Annie also loved and truly enjoyed her summers at the cottage in Dundee with her family and grandchildren, and the "Kitchen Party's" with her family and friends with a good feed of herring and potatoes. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 49 years, Gordon Ralph LeLacheur, Lennox Passage; daughter Pauline LeLacheur (Theo Martens), Lennox Passage; sons, Richard LeLacheur (Bridgette Johnson), West Bay, and Blair LeLacheur (Perlita), Keswick, Ont.; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brother Hughie MacRae (Joan), Dundee; sisters, Mae MacKinnon, Dundee, Ella MacRae, St. Peter's, and Viola Coltman, Ont. There will be no visitation by request. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service and committal will take place at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Strait Richmond Hospital Palliative Care Society.
