FOUGERE, Wallace Freeman,"Wallie" 83, Poulamon and Halifax, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2007 in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Poulamon on December 27, 1923 he was the son of the late Isaac and Alvina (Boudreau) Fougere. Wallie always enjoyed a good game of crib. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. He served with the Canadian Army from 1945 - 1946, and later was a former employee of Parker Bros and other Paint Contractors in Halifax up until his retirement He will be sadly missed by his wife of 57 years, Doris (Poirier) Fougere; daughters Judy (Blair) Gilhen, Dartmouth, Tena (Gary) Berrigan, Halifax; sons, Warren (Angela) West Arichat, Paul (Norma) Halifax; Grandchildren, Shannon, Shaun, Ian, Josh, Jamie, Patrick, Ryan, Scott, Kolissa and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Kaleb and Andrew; sisters Exilda Poirier, Poulamon, Helen Pettipas, Halifax, Phylis Poan (Harold) Poulamon, and also by his good his good friend Sonny Landry, Poulamon. He was predeceased by his daughter in law Janet Fougere (Myers). Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. September 22, 2007 in St. Hyacinth Church in D'Escousse with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating.Internment will be held at a later date.Memorial donations can be made ti the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to the charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat. On line condolences or to light a candle can be done by going to www.chboudreau.com
