To the Landry-Samson family. I first met Jeanne D'Arc many years ago when I lived with Lorraine Samson while attending classes at College de l'Acadie. I enjoyed each time she came over either to chat with Lorraine, to have tea or to play cards... I finally learned how to play 45... She will be greatly missed. Nancy Taylor

Meme Jeanne was an inspiring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She has this incredible way of making each and every one of us feel unique and special.. My heart aches as do many others.
When my twin girls were only 1 year old Meme came with my mom Audrey to Marseille as i went to Germany on business for a few days! I was sooo excited to have her visit the little fishing village i lived in, we drank tea and ate macaroons in Aix en Provence and walked to the top of the hill to Notre dame de la Garde as meme worried about her hair in the wind!!
She was always flawless and an example of feminity... She showed me so many ways to care for my twin girls and have a delicate way of handling children.
Meme was quite the fearless jet setter and always dressed to the nines... There are many trips to Barbadoes and Hawaii that I will cherish forever. We should all feel privileged in our pai. To have had her in our lives....
I am currently in Marseille with a very heavy heart but so grateful that i was able to see her alive in Moncton just weeks ago. We had a truly lovely visit as she recounted details of events that amazed me. She wore a lovely shade of lipstick to accompany her new scarf and I kissed her gentle forehead amazed that she could smell so lovely after surviving a second heart ache.
Jeanne d'Arc you wore your name well as a noble matriarch to our family. I heard dad open the gates of heaven and point to a table with pepe and a fresh deck of cards...
Je t'aime meme toujours tu resteras dans nos coeurs.....
Bisous

To the family of Jeanne D'Arc Landry our deepest Sympathy. Sorry we can't be home cause we are in Regina Sask.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. She was a great women whom I'm sure will be truly missed.
The greatest legacy anyone can leave is the love and support of a strong foundation. Tante Jeanne d'Arc understood and actively practiced that support. She was always so kind and patient when she would visit Mom in the home. She never rushed her when she tried to speak, even when her speech was so painfully slow and hard to understand. And she always seemed to be able to figure out what she was saying. It was her gift to my Mom and it meant alot to us. She is now pain free and somewhere she is now peacfully reuniting with all the loved ones that left before her. Our sympathies and prayers are with you all as you each journey your loss.
