Obituary of John Clement Boucher

Boucher, John Clement 80, Arichat, Richmond County passed away peacefully on August 29, 2012 at the QE11 Health Science Centre (Infirmary Site), in Halifax. Born in Arichat, he was the son of the late Gentil and Beatrice (DeWolfe) Boucher. Clem was active throughout his life, (boat Club, festivals, concerts, Tim Horton's and many more). He loved his chats with family and friends. He loved also to chat about his fond memories of the "Lake Boats", Emile's, Esso Station in Petit De Grat, White Rose Gas Station, Forgeron's Construction, Premium Seafood's, Clearwater, Superior Construction and C.H. Boudreau's. He will be sadly missed by his only sibling, sister, Jean (Wilbert DeCoste), West Arichat; nieces, godchild, Gertrude (Blair Sampson), Louisdale, Alvina (Jerome Berthier) and Irene (Daryl David) both of Arichat; grandnephews and nieces, Brian, Robert, Jordan, Chantal, Alicia and Victoria. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation as per Clem's request. Funeral Mass will take place in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat, on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating, burial to follow in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Cemetery, Arichat. Memorial donations may be made to St. Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre or to the charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat.
