Obituary of Kenneth Gregory Cosman

COSMAN, Kenneth Gregory Sr. River Bourgeois �" It is with sadness that the family of Kenneth Cosman announces the peaceful passing on December 27th, 2007, at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Mabou on April 19, 1930 he was the son of the late Earl, Anne and Jessie Cosman. Ken lived in River Bourgeois for the past 49 years. Kenneth began his career at the Royal Bank in Port Hood and Sydney Mines, and then went on to become the Manager of the Nova Scotia Liquor Commission in St. Peter's, Ken also had his own Insurance Business. After his retirement in 1986, Ken and Mary enjoyed many years of travelling and camping. Ken was an avid reader and loved going for walks, fine crafts and Celtic music. He leaves to mourn, his loving wife of 55 years Mary (Cholock) Cosman; children Debra (David) Digout, Kenny (Joanne) Cosman, Maureen ( Neil) Burke, all of River Bourgeois, Brenda (Jeff) Bourque, Mount Uniack; grandchildren, Tanya, (Chris) Boudreau, Halifax, Christian ( Pam ) Digout, Edmonton, Shauna Digout, Halifax, Tasha Lynn Burke, Toronto, Joel Burke , Halifax, Alisha Burke, Antigonish, and great �"grandchildren, Ella and Addison Boudreau. He also leaves to mourn his brothers Billy (Linda) Cosman, Detroit, Donald Cosman, Mabou, Earle Cosman, Halifax, Visitation will be held today from 2-5 and 6-9 in the River Bourgeois Community Funeral Home, River Bourgeois. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, River Bourgeois, with Rev. Everett MacDow officiating. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the River Bourgeois Community Funeral Home, St. John the Baptist Church or to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society.
