YOUNG, Edgar Francis - Port Hawkesbury, formerly of D'Escousse, passed away peacefully December 24, 2012 in the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston, with his loving family by his side. Francis, better known as the milkman, loved sailing, gardening, camping, animals especially dogs. He was a frequent visitor to the former Poirier's Garage in D'escousse where there were many stories told. Francis was a distributor for Scotsburn Milk in Arichat for many years. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Marjorie (Fougere) Young; daughters, Mrytle Young, D'Escousse, Linda Sampson (Felix), Antigonish, and Susan Young, Halifax; grandchildren, Darcelle, Danielle, Genelle, Adelle, Lori, Todd and Hali; sister, Claire Thibeau (Richard), Timberlea. He was predeceased by his sister, Zita Poirier. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat on Friday, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place Saturday morning at 11 am in St. Hyacinth Church, D'Escousse with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Burial to follow in St. Hyacinth Parish Cemetery.
