I was so deeply saddened to hear of Vernon's passing. I went to school with Vernon in River Bourgeois and then high school in St. Peter's. After graduating high school, we weren't able to see each other often but when we did, he'd always made me laugh!!! He seemed so genuinely happy to see you. I was thrilled when he asked to me attend his wedding. He and Tina were so happy that day and I'm so glad they found each other. To Catherine Ann, Monica, Brenda and Judy, I know I'm so sad that Vernon has passed. I can't imagine how you feel. The world has lost a kind and genuine soul. I consider myself very lucky to say he was a friend.

I had the honor of playing baseball against vernon for a number of years in the 80's and 90's and he was trully a great athlete and person someone you enjoyed being around. I also had the priveledge to see vernon this summer as well and it is almost like you pick up right where you left off the last time we met. my condolences to his imidiate and extended family so sorry for such a big loss. cam landry

I have thought of Vernon many times over the past few days, each time with a heavy heart. Not just because he has left us, for we will each have our time, but because I will never again hear that wonderful laugh or spend time with one the most genuine people I have ever known. To Kay, Monica, Brenda, Judy and Tina my love and thoughts are with you at this time. May you cherish your memories of Vernon and comfort each other always.

I was so sad to hear of your loss. I went to high school with Vernon - he was a great fella. Always had a smile. I got to see him last summer at Sheldon's - it was so nice to catch up. Uncle Vernon you had a good soul. I loved your sense of humour and your contagious laugh. We would hear our doorbell ring and there Uncle Vernon would be delivering Aunt Tina's baked goods. My love and thoughts are with his wife Aunt Tina and children Megan and Corey and the rest of his family.

I am So So Sorry For Your Loss, I played Hockey with Vernon for several Years. He was always a Great Guy. He got me out of Trouble several times with His Beard..LOL I have some Hockey Pictures I have to dig out. Is there anyone I can send them too?
