Dear Laura and Michelle: My deepest sympathies for your loss. Dion was “one of a kind”. No matter how long it had been since we last saw each other, it was like we were back in home-room, catching up on what we did over the weekend. In the 40 years we knew each, he always had a smile or a kind word to say and most often a good story to tell. I was moved to see a picture of him singing at a party I had for our 20th class reunion. We may not have had best turn-out but we had the best music. Dion will be fondly remembered for his love of family, friends, music, cards, baseball and golf; and forever missed for his kindness, genuineness and love of life. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there for the celebration of his life, but please be assured that I keep him, his family and friends in my thoughts and prayers.
