Obituary of Edith Ann Petitpas

PETITPAS, EDITH ANN - 99, St Peter's, formerly of Poirierville, passed away peacefully at her residence at the Richmond Villa on February 23, 2013. Born in Poirierville, she was the daughter of the late Amable and Eliza (Bonin) Petitpas. Edith was a resident of the Richmond Villa in St. Peter's since 1999, a place she called home. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Lina, Sister Sadie, Mary; brothers, Francis, Willard, Dominic, Godfrey, Andrew and Stanley; 3 siblings in childhood. Visitation will take place at the Richmond Villa in St. Peter's on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Hyacinth Church in D'Escousse on Tuesday afternoon at 1 pm, officiated by Rev. Angus MacDougall. Burial in St. Hyacinth Parish Cemetery at a later date. Family flowers only please. Memorial donations can be made to the Richmond Villa Development Fund.
