Obituary of George Walter Samson

SAMSON, George Walter - 78, of Petit De Grat, passed away suddenly on March 25, 2013 at his home in Alderney Point . Born in Petit De Grat, he was the son of the late Walter and Ida May (Boudreau) Samson. George will be sadly missed by his daughter Michelle Forest, Arichat; sons, Elmer (Barbara) and Barry both of Petit De Grat;; step-son, Bobby (Brenda) Boudreau, Pondville; grandchildren, Codie Forest, Arichat, Jamie Forest, Truro; step-granddaughter Angela Yoldassis, Petit De Grat; step-grandson, Dwayne (Krista) Boudreau and step-great grandson, Camden Boudreau, both of Louisdale. He is also survived by his brother, Raymond (Edith) Samson, Arichat; sister, Idella Samson, St. Catherines, Ont. and sister-in-law Delia Samson, Arichat; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Elise (Boudreau) Samson; two sons infancy; brother, Alzear Samson; sisters Clarisse Samson, Kathleen Roberts and brother-in-law, Ralph Roberts. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. Josephs Church in Petit De Grat, with Rev. Andrew Gillies officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Star of the Sea Cemetery Fund or to St Anne Community and Nursing Care Centre Ladies Auxillary. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.H.
