It is with great sadness that I hear of the passing of my dear friend, Angela Burke, I will never forget her glowing smile and her kindness when I trained at the Richmond Villa. She always had stories to share with me and I loved helping her play BINGO. She will be sadly missed, may she rest in peace. loving hugs Darlene Landry -Sampson , Alliston, Ontario

From one Burke family member to the others: We were sadden to hear of the news of Aunt Angela's passing. But what a storied life she must have lived! 98 years is quite a long time to be on this earth.....more than most of us. Leaving behind 7 children (and their families), 15 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren is not a bad legacy. She was "multi-tasking" long before that word was ever invented. That's just the way it was back then. You simply did what had to be done, with no complaint or recognition. Moms are like that. It's only after, when we raise our own that we come to realize what a powerful influence they have on our lives...and just how much they sacrificed to mold us and shape us into respectable human beings and parents. A passing filled with sadness...and joy. May God bless you Aunt Angela for living through a hard life....so your children could have better. And may God bless all Moms who did the same! So sad to hear of Aunt Angela's passing. I am sure her presence will be greatly missed by all. How fortunate to have all those wonderful years and memories to share. I can clearly remember from our many summer trips to the River, Aunt Angela always having a big heart, wonderful meals and a most generous hospitality. I can still picture her in the rocking chair, she seemed so content- gazing out the window. It left the impression that all was right with the world. Most sincere condolences to the family from Ray, Sue, Caleb and Josh Burke

To the Burke family: Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mom, Angela. I had the pleasure of meeting your mom on a few occasions while visiting the Villa. She was a very wise and friendly lady who had such an infectious laugh. Each encounter left me with a warm feeling and I always doubted that she was as old as she would tell me because of her youthful and alert ways. Enjoy your memories. To John and Jackie: Take care. We are thinking of you.
My sincere sympathy to all the Burke family. I have good memories of visits to her home. She made Gerard and I feel so welcome. We loved to take her and David for a ride.
Dear Judy, Lloyd and the Burke Family: Thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Your Mom was a very lovely Lady. Take Care and God Bless! Kathleen Boudreau, St. Peter's
Angie and family, I did not know Angela personally, but even in pictures it was easy to see that she had a very loving spirit. Her face was always beaming with joy and happiness, whether she was posing with her children, grandchildren or great-grand children. You were all lucky to have known and loved one another. That love will never fade. Love and prayers, Trina.
I will always remember Angela as one of the sweetest, most kind and toughest women I have ever met. Her love and continual care for her son David was always something to be admired. Much love and sympathy to Angela's family.
I was very sorry to hear the passing of your mom, got to know her a bit while mom and dad were at the villa too. She was always very nice, my sympathy to you all.
