Dorey, Doris Elizabeth - 75, of Janvrin's Island, passed away suddenly at her home in Janvrin's Island on November 3, 2013. Born in Janvrin's Island, She was a daughter of the late Vincent Alphonse and Elizabeth (Leblanc) MacNeil. She is survived by her husband George Peter Dorey and grandson Trevor Dorey; daughters Geneva (Arthur) Flemming, Marlene (Mark) Maccaskie, Carmella, Geraldine, Holly (Jason) Dorey; sons George (Della), Roddie (Colleen), Dale Dorey; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; siblings Anita, Florence, Mamie, Annie May, Margret and Patrick. She is predeceased to her son Marvin; brothers Roderick, Vincent in infancy; sisters Katherine and Clara; half siblings, Mary, Martha Jane, Loretta, Gertrude and Murdock. There will be no visitation as requested from the family. Mass of Christian Farewell will be held on Friday morning at 11 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, West Arichat with Rev. Andrew Gilles officiating. A reception will follow in the Janvrin's Island Community Hall. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H.Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat.
