Obituary of Joyce Marie Cluett

CLUETT, Joyce Beatrice, 70; It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Joyce on Saturday April 6, 2014. Born on April 17, 1943 in Louisdale, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Beatrice Burt. In the earlier years, Joyce was known for her talent in cake decorating and sewing, and in her later years loved to take her dog for drives in the car and see pictures of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren "THE EMAIL". As many did in her day, Joyce left school in Grade four to help raise her younger siblings and she carried that care-giving passion throughout her life. She was a very loving person always willing to help people in need and she will be greatly missed. Joyce leaves behind her loving husband Bob and beautiful Collie, Angel. Joyce was a loving Mother to her three children Beryl England, Bedford, Gerry (Leigh) England, Sackville, and Mark (Angelyn) England, CA. Joyce loved and was so proud of her grandchildren Brooke, Blake, Matthew, Lyndsay, Robyn, Kaleigh, Brady, Luke and Miles along with her great grandchildren Olivia, Arielle and Rylan. Joyce is also survived by her brothers Melvin (Karen), Edmonton, Richard (Eileen), Donnie (Brenda) both of Louisdale, Alfi (Candy), Sydney, Ronnie (Shirley), Lower Sackville; sister Claudia (Les), Lake Charlotte and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Raymond. A memorial service will be held where she lived in Alberta and in Louisdale at the St. Louis Church, May 10, 2014 at 11am with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Burial to follow in the St. Louis parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
