LeVesconte, Ada Mabel - 101, It is with great sadness that we the family have to announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister on April 19, 2014 in the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston. Born in Cape LaRond, she was a daughter of the late John and Olla (Mauger) Latimer. Ada was a former member of the United Church Women's League and also a member of the Nova Scotia Retired Teachers Union. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Marilyn), and Roy (Marlene), both of St. Peters; grandchildren, Dawn, Dauphne, Robin, Andrea, Kevin and Imelda; 13 great-grandchildren;daughter-in-law, Jesslyn, Eastern Passage;sister-in-law, Marie Mauger, Arichat. She was predeceased by her husband, John Cutler LeVesconte; and son, John. Cremation has taken place, no visitation by request. A Memorial Service will be held at St Peter's United Church in St Peters on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 2 pm. with Minister Carolyn MacLeod presiding. A reception will foloow in St. Peter's United Church Hall. Burial in St. John Anglican Church Cemetery in Arichat at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, in Arichat.
