Obituary of Mary Rita MacEachern

MacEachern, Mary Rita, 94 of Antigonish. It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Rita on May 14, 2014 at R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish. Born in Cape Auguet, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Albany and Martha (Gaudet) Boudreau. Rita was a former member of Our Lady of Assumption C.W.L., New Horizon's Senior Club, Arichat. She was a bingo lover who also loved a good game of cards. She is survived by her daughters Marie(Jimmy), Henneberry, Dartmouth, Jeannette Benoit (Clyde Bowman), Afton; sons John (Joan), Manitawage, Ontario, Bernie, Antigonish, Finley (Bernadette) MacEachern, Truro, Jimmy (Rose) Feltmate, Pomquet; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 4 great - great grandchildren; brothers Amable Boudreau, Kentville, Gappy Boudreau, Arichat. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas J. MacEachern; daughter Rita Smith-Bower; sisters Alice, Mary, Rose, Theresa; brothers Elias, Sylvester, Leo, John, Clarence, Arthur, Francis and Joe. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held Saturday morning, in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat at 11am with Rev. Andrew Gillies officiating. Burial to follow in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Cemetery.
