SKINNER, HARVEY SR, 83 - D'ESCOUSSE passed away peacefully at St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish on May 19, 2014 with his loving family by his side. He was the son of the late Charles and Pheobe (Ashford) Skinner. He is survived by his daughters Joan (Brian) Embree, Shirley (Lionel) Sikora, both of Port Hawkesbury, Barbara (Bobby) Fry, Pictou, Maureen (Kevin) Sampson, Martinique, Tracy (Glen) Randall, Whiteside; sons Charlie, Port Hastings, Harvey Jr, (Roseina), Port Hawkesbury, Patrick (Cheryl), Poulamon; grandchildren Christopher, Nicholas, Nicole, Kenzie, Jennifer, Michael, Daniel, Alex, Jarod, Derrick, Ryan, Jacob, Brady, Paige; great grandchildren Jace and Hannah. He was predeceased by his wife Theresa Andree Elizabeth ( Goicoechea) Skinner; son Harvey in infancy; brothers Jake and Gordon Skinner; sister Mary Short. Visitation will take place Thursday, May 22 in C.H.Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat from 7-9pm from where Memorial Service will be held on Friday morning at 11 am with Rev. Evelyn Knorr officiating. Burial to follow in St. John Anglican Church Cemetery, Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation( NS), Nova Scotia Lung Association or to the Strait Richmond Health Care Foundation.
