Obituary of Delta Mary Fraser

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Delta Mary Fraser, of Arichat formerly of Petit de Grat that occurred at her residence in St Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre in Arichat on October 9, 2014. Born in Petit de Grat, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Elizabeth (Boudreau) Samson. Delta was a lifetime member of St Lawrence Roman Catholic Church C.W.L. in Mulgrave. She is survived by her daughters, Anne Hardiman (Doug), Bridgewater, Patsy Burton (Billy) Pictou, Linda MacDonald (Sandy), Port Hawkesbury, Donna MacLellan (Donald), Arichat; sons, Gerard (Diane), Donnie (Darlene), both of Pictou, and Raymond (Peggy), Ontario; brothers, Abel, Petit de Grat, Anthony (Sylvia), D'Escousse; sisters, Laura Samson (Cletus), British Columbia, Jacqueline Marchand (Cornelius), Louisdale, Viola Perry, Petit de Grat, Kathleen Samson, Little Anse; 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Gerard; grandson Gordon Anthony; sister, Blandine David. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13, 2014 at the C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat from 2 - 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday morning, October 14, 2014 at 11 am in Our Lady of Assumption Church in Arichat with Rev. Doug MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in St Lawrence Roman Catholic Parish Cemetery in Mulgrave. Memorial donations can be made to St. Anne Community & Nursing Care Center.
