LEBLANC, FRANCIS JOSEPH, 91 - Port Hawkesbury, formerly of Port Royal passed away peacefully on November 2, 2014 at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston. Born in Port Royal, he was the son of the late Emile and Alma (Frank) LeBlanc. Francis is the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Rita, Rose, Lorette and Brigette; brothers, Amedee, Gordon and Raymond. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat on Sunday November 9th from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m., Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 10th at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Assumption Church in Arichat with Rev, Doug MacDonald officiating. Burial will take place in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in West Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home or to St Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre's Recreation Funds. Reception will be held following the committal in the Acadiaville Hall in West Arichat.
