Obituary of Allan W. Paon

Paon, Allan Walter - 83, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2014 in St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish. Born in Cambridge, Mass, he was the son of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Landry) Paon. Allan was a former member of the Lawrence Kavanaugh Council 4607 of West Arichat. He was also a former employee and drove the bread truck for Eastern Bakery, drove the school bus for the Richmond District School Board up until he became Superintendant of the Pupil Transportation where he worked up until his retirement. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Boudreau (James), West Arichat; sons, Kenneth (Jane), Cornwall, ON, Walter (Barb), Middle Sackville; grandchildren, Kyla, Janelle, Lauren, Sheena, Tara, Colin, Marc and Ryan; step-grandchildren, Thomas, Sarah, Emma and Molly; step- great granddaughter Sabelle; sisters, Connie Richardson, Chelan, Wash., and Claudette Soule (Terry), Marblehead, Mass. He was predeceased by his sons Walter in infancy and Glen . Visitation will be held at C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat on Thursday evening from 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held in Our Lady of Assumption Church in Arichat on Friday afternoon at 2 with Rev, Doug MacDonald officiating. Burial to take place in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in West Arichat at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the St Martha's PCU in Antigonish.
