Obituary of Christopher Joseph Isaac

ISAAC, Christopher Joseph, 53 - Potlotek, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle of cancer on October 4, 2015 at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston. Born in Chapel Island, he was the son of the late Henry Joseph and Mary Jane (Paul) Isaac. Christopher was a devoted father and husband. He had a wonderful sense of humour and enjoyed his many special times with his friends. He was a very cultural and spiritual man. Christopher went on a pilgrimage to Ste. Anne de Beaupre`. He enjoyed many bingo games. He will be dearly missed by his wife Janice Paulette Kimberley Isaac, Potlotek; daughter Dakota Jane Isaac; son Henry Joseph Isaac, both of Potlotek; brother William John Isaac, Halifax; sister Mary Ann Paul, Whycocomagh; nieces Alice, Michelle and Patricia; nephew John Gerard. He will be sadly missed by his special friends Dwayne Johnson, Maynard Marshall, Lester "Diggit" Johnson, Kristal Johnson and Edward Young. He was predeceased by his brother Gerard Isaac; infant twins; paternal grandparents John and Louise Isaac; maternal grandparents William and Lucy Paul. Visitation will be held in Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Chapel in Potlotek tomorrow afternoon at 6pm. Mass of Christian Farewell will be held Thursday afternoon at 2pm in Immaculate Conception Church, Barra Head with Rev. Antolin Asor officiating. Burial to follow in Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, Barra Head. A Salite will follow the committal in the Potlotek Community Hall.
