Obituary of Stella Mary Landry

Landry, Stella Mary - 87, St. Peter's, passed away on November 24 2008 at her residence in the Richmond Villa in St. Peter's. Born in River Bourgeois, she was the daughter of the late Ephrine and Loretta (Boudreau) Fougere. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 66 years, Ernest Edwin Landry; daughters, Catherine Wincey (Danny), Sampsonville, Brenda Doyle (Leonard), St. Peter's, Doreen Barrett (Kenneth), Lower Sackville, Josephine Harker (Gary), Halifax, Emily Morrison (George), River Tillard, Darlene Bona (Alexander) Antigonish, Theresa Mariner (Donnie) St. Peter's, Alice Landry, Halifax; sons, Robert (Valerie) Hamilton, Ont., Freddie (Mary), Ernest Jr. (Jane), John (Pauline); sister Emily Kendall, all of Sampsonville; 24 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; she is also survived by very special nieces Ann Sampson, Sampsonville and Kathleen Burns, Louisdale. She was predeceased by her son Abraham and brother Neil. Private visitation will be held in the River Bourgeois Community Funeral Home in River Bourgeois for family only on Wednesday evening from 6 �" 8 p.m. and for family and friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial to Celebrate the life of Stella will be held at in St Peter's Catholic Church in St. Peters, on Friday morning at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. Everett MacDow. Burial to take place in St Peter's Parish Cemetery, St. Peter's.
