Obituary of Joseph Walter Fougere

FOUGERE, Joseph Walter, 60 - Petit de Grat It is with saddened hearts that we have to announce the passing of Joseph Walter Fougere that occurred at St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish on May 5th, 2016 with his family by his side at the age of 60. Born in Arichat, he was the son of Mary Irene (Boudreau), Southside Petit De Grat and the late Norman Joseph Fougere. Walter was a member of the New Horizon's Seniors Club in Arichat. He is survived by his wife Bernice (Samson) Fougere; daughter Kayla(Sabrina) Fougere, Halifax, Kimberly Fougere (Mark Skinner), Arichat, Kayle Fougere (Glen Mauger), Rocky Bay; son Cody Fougere, Petit de Grat; grandson Wyatt Mauger; brothers Norman Joseph Fougere (Judy), Arichat, Georgie Boudreau (JoAnne), Daniel Boudreau, both of Calgary. Besides his father he was predeceased by sister Pauline Boudreau. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau funeral home in Arichat on Tuesday May 10th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral mass will take place Wednesday, May 11th at 11am in St. Joseph's Church in Petit de Grat. Committal to follow in Star of the Sea Cemetery, Petit de Grat. Reception to follow the committal in St. Joseph's Parish Hall, Petit de Grat. Memorial donations can be made to the Nova Scotia Kidney Foundation or to the Diabetes Society (NS).
