GOULD Paul Leonard, 66 - D'Escousse
It is with saddened hearts that we have to announce the passing of our loyal and committed husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, that occurred at the QE11 Health Science Centre Infirmary Site in Halifax on May 22, 2016. Born in Arichat, he was the son of the late James Michael and Viola Mildred (Williams) Gould. Paul was an active member of the of the community and was well known for helping anyone especially seniors. He loved hunting, fishing, darts, music and his special furry friend Mitsy who will miss him. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43 in Port Hawkesbury, Lennox Passage Yacht Club, Civic Improvement Centre and the Rocky Bay Irish Club. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Myrtle Theresa (Young); daughters,
Pamela (Donnie), Dartmouth, step daughters, Darcelle LeBlanc (Brian), Martinique, Danielle, Genelle Frank (Tyson), both of Calgary, Adelle (Stephen) Halifax; sons, Paul Jr., (Tania), Rocky Bay, Trevor (Christal), D'Escousse; grandchildren, Brenna, Laura Mae, Jacob, Ethan, Jamie, Morgan, Nolan, Logan and Emma; brothers James (Lorraine), Mass, Anthony, (Dollene), Hammonds Plains, William, (Judy), Fort McMurray; brother-in-law, Jacques Grenier, Saint Godefroi, QC; sisters, Diane Minshull, Sackville, NB, Judy Doyle (Earl), D'Escousse. He was predeceased by his first wife, Eleanor Marie (MacIsaac); sister, Janet Grenier; brother-in-laws, Walter Minshull, Neil MacIsaac and Vernon Marchand. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home 633 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Arichat today from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday morning at 11 in Our Lady of Assumption Church in Arichat with Rev. Doug MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in St. Hyacinth Cemetery in D'Escousse. A reception will be held following the committal at the D'Escousse Civic Improvement Hall.
