Condolences
I did not know Laurie but I was reading this and wanted to leave a few words to her family and friends. I hope that this bible text can provide you with a little bit of comfort as you continue to cope during this difficult time. Take care. John 5:28,29-"Do not be amazed at this for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life..."
Paul, Mila and family, I am so saddened to discover the news of the passing of your wife, mother, and daughter. Though I never met her, she sounds like a fantastic person and I can only imagine how much she is missed. I hope you accept the love and generosity of others to get you though. All my best, Mark Boertjes.

My sincere condolences to the Zinck & Landry family for the loss of your dear Laurie. I worked for a short time with Laurie years ago at St. Martha's. I never forgot what a wonderful person she was or what an infectious laugh and strong work ethic she had for such a young nurse. She was a pleasure to be around, and I enjoyed so much meeting her over the years, she never forgot me, which I appreciated so much. She was a very special person who will live on in all our memories-A sweet, giving person with a big heart, and someone to give thanks for having known. Bless you all.
sorry for your lose , so young we will be thinking of all you folks
Dear Paul, Mila and family. I am truly sorry for your loss. Please accept my most sincere condolences and know that you and your family are in my thoughts. Maryn
A few years ago one of my teachers handed out small cards saying "You make me smile!" on them. She instructed the class that as a 'feel good' project we were to give them to someone who meant a lot to us or was often doing good deeds. I gave mine to Laurie. I put it on the fridge next to a photo of the two of us for her to find. After she read the small caption I had written on the back she came running into the room with happy tears rolling down her cheeks to give me a hug.
I don't think I could have picked anyone better to give that card to, as I was always smiling with her.
Paul,Mila and family This video was sent to me after Grandmere Bona's passing. I listened to it everyday to help ease the pain. Hopefully you'll feel the same way. We'll remember Lulu for her kindness , Love, laughter and quirky little pranks! May God Bless! Love You: Godmother Mad and JoeJoe. http://youtu.be/YNoLJy68ZcE

I am so very sorry for your loss. She's in heaven making everyone laugh.
Ma and Pa Landry, Genny, Janice, Paul and Mila....as everyone I've been paralyzed since I heard. This loss reminds us of how precious every day is .... I cannot express in words I sorry I am for you all and the world . She was truly an angel with, as so many others have said, the biggest heart of any person on earth. The world was truly a better place for her being in it and now heaven can be too. Today and tomorrow will be so incredibly hard but I hope your memories and her love will help guide you through .... So very sorry to hear of her passing. She was a brilliant Nurse. She was so happy all the time always making her coworker laugh. We worked together at ST.Martha's on PCU.Remember most about her was her fondness for the sweater her grandfather made her .And her planning her wedding! hugs to all her family Mary Jean Rochon LPN
There is no one story that can do her justice. Back when Mila was little and going to swimming lessons I would drive Laurie most Ssaturday mornings since Josh was in lessons too. She always wanted to buy the lunch or get gas which I tried my hardest to not let her do. So instead she would regularly send me thank-you cards in the mail. She said they were more special that way. What she didn't realize is that I loved having her along for the drive, she always made it much more interesting. I will miss that crazy co-pilot.

I'm so sorry to hear about Laurie's passing. She, despite the obstacles life threw at her, met everything head on with laughter and energy. She lived every day to the max and her attitude was a testament to her spirit and the support of her family. I take small comfort in knowing Grandmere and Grandpere will have her for company now though I know they would also say it was far too soon. xxoo Natalie

Ican not say it any better than this: “And we wept that one so lovely should have a life so brief.” William Cullen Bryant
Dear Paul + Mila, I am so sorry for your loss. I don't even know what to say to lessen your loss. I met Laurie at our one of our early pharmacy class reunions and loved her enthusiasm for life. She had a larger than life personality. I can't even imagine your grief. Please take care and know that your loss is felt afar. Dear Paul, you and Mila are welcome anytime if you if you ever decide to make treck to Ontario (Go Jays Go) you are always welcome to stay with us. I will never forget our time together at Chez Chebucto and miss the innocence of those days. Wishing you stength to get through the next days and beyond. Much love, Seadna Ledger (nee Bigelow)
We were so very shocked and saddened to hear of Laurie's sudden passing. Our hearts are with you all at this most difficult time. Brent, Sheila, Kiley, and Taylor
I don't even know what to say or what to think. This doesn't seem real. Laurie was one of a kind, that's for sure. Since I've moved away we haven't gotten to spend as much time together but she was the first one to call me when I was coming home for a visit. Let's be honest, she often called even before I made it home! But my Dad was always happy to talk with her! Haha. My deepest sympathies go out to Paul, Mila and the entire family. There is nothing I can say to make this better. But I recently read something that helped me put things in perspective. "...Grief is the price we pay for deep love. Mourning means we had something worth missing. And that’s OK. Because the alternative is never having had that beauty in your life." We are all lucky for having had Laurie's beauty in our lives. <3
We are all shocked and saddened by the loss of Laurie.... whose heart and smile lit up the world wherever she went. To Paul and Mila,,, no words can be true comfort perhaps, but know that my family are sending prayers for Laurie to bring joy to the spirit world and cyber hugs and love to you both. Ron and I leave for Brazil this Friday so will not be able to be there in person, but know that our love is sent from afar. Joan/Ron= Jillian, Roy and little ones, ... Meghan and Wilker, Jono, Danielle, and Caitlin. xoxoxo

I was saddened to hear of Laurie's death. I met her and worked with her at St Martha's Hospital, shortly after her graduation from STFX. Her caring for patients, her respect for others, her knowledge base, her unending energy, her smile and her laugh are what I remember from this time. She had a gift that she brought to work every day and shared it with others. Everyone wanted to work with Laurie, she brought so much fun to the shift.
