Obituary of Logan Joseph Boudreau

It is with deep sadness that we, the family of Logan Boudreau, announce his passing at the age of 21, that occurred at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney on September 7, 2016, after a courageous battle with Cancer. Born in Antigonish, he was the son of Reed Alphonse Boudreau, West Arichat and Dina (Castelluccio) Boudreau, Mississauqua, ON. Logan loved sports such as Hockey, Skate Boarding and BMX Biking. Besides his parents, he will lovingly be missed by his sister, Natalie DiStefano, Mississauqua, Ont. ; paternal grandfather, Ludger Boudreau, Arichat; maternal grandparents Joseph and Rosalia (Patrone) Castelluccio, Oakville, Ont.; Aunt Modestina Taylor, Mississauqua, Ont. and Uncles, Joseph and Fred Castelluccio, both of Oakville, Ont.; cousins, Rachael and Rebecca Taylor, Michael Castelluccio. Logan will also be dearly missed by his Godmother, Charmaine Boudreau and Godfather Gilles Boudreau,.Arichat.He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Sheila Boudreau. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat on Saturday from 6 - 9pm. There will be no funeral service per request. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donation can be made to the Logan Boudreau Scholarship Bursary Fund. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. McCormick and the staff of the Oncology Unit at St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish and also to the Staff on 4E at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Palliative Care Services for the dedicated care given to Logan while he was in their care.
