Burgess, Kenneth William-70 of Rocky Bay, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2016 at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Gerald and Barbara (Snow) Burgess. He was a member of the Rocky Bay Irish Club, where he spent many years volunteering. Kenneth will be sadly missed by his loving wife Linda; daughters Leeanne (Earle) Martell, D'Escousse, Tracey (Rob) Bowness, Sackville, Jennifer (Steven) Forgeron, Rocky Bay; son Ken (Angela), Estevan, Saskatchewan; grandchildren Gregory, Allisha, Kaitlin, John Ross, Megan, Madison, Leland; brothers Gary (Donna), Gerald (Darlene), both of Fall River, Phil (Leann), B.C.; sisters Kelli (Joe), Kim Turple, both of Fall River, Karen (Keith) Golden, California. He was predeceased by his brother Carl Burgess and sister Kathi Cheeke. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7 -9 p.m. Memorial Service will take place Saturday morning at 11 a.m. in the Rocky Bay Irish Club, Rocky Bay with Lay Minister Gail MacKay officiating. Reception to follow in the Rocky Bay Irish Club, Rocky Bay. Memorial donations may be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society or to the Charity of one's Choice.
