My dearest memory of uncle walter is of how much he adored Elvis Presley from the time I was very young. He would love singing and dancing to Elvis records in his living room. As one of the youngest of my uncles, he amused us often and visited us a lot when he returned from long trips on the "Lake Boats". I will always treasure these memories of him. He bought us presents when he returned home and he was always so happy to see everyone,especially Grandmere Clemence. He would have been in his early twenties when he travelled far and wide for work .
