Martens, Anna Marie 64, of River Bourgeois, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2009 after she lost her short battle with Cancer, in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, with her loving family at her side. Born in Sydney she was the daughter of the late James Henry and Margaret Rachael (Sampson) Boucher. She is survived by daughter Deborah Capstick (Leo), Sydney Mines; son Gilbert (Lisa), River Bourgeois, brothers: Gilbert (Colleen), River Bourgeois, Kenneth, Halifax; grandchildren, Paige (Alan), Miranda, Ricky, Haley and Megan; great grandchildren, Brynn, Rhileigh; nephews, Billy, Junior; nieces: Cheryl, Angela, Nicole. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 in the River Bourgeois Community Funeral Home, River Bourgeois . Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Saint John the Baptist Church, River Bourgeois, with Rev. Everett MacDow officiating. Memorial Donations can be made to Hospice/Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.H.
