Obituary of Rose Marie Marchand

Marchand, Rose Marie, 67 - Louisdale, formerly of West Arichat, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2009 at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston. Born in West Arichat she was a daughter of the late Albany and Stella (Covin) David. She will be sadly missed by her son, Glen (Sarah Jane), Louisdale; grandchildren, Adam (Renee), Aaron and Brandon; great-granddaughter, Savannah; brother, Albany, West Arichat and her special niece Mary Covin (Rudolph), West Arichat. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Joseph Marchand; sisters Mary Mury (Patrick), and Priscilla David. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday morning at 11 am in St. Louis Church in Louisdale, with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Burial to follow in St. Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisdale. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Doctors, Nursing Staff, and the Palliative Care Unit of the Strait Richmond Hospital for their dedicated and caring care that they gave to Rose during her stay at the hospital.
