Condolences
I wish to extend my sincere condolances to Donna and family, on the loss of Hugh. Hugh kindly welcomed me into his band as a vocalist, back in the early 90's, and we had so much fun, so many laughs, and such great food at Donna's kitchen table...(especially her chocolate cake with the fabulous boiled icing...I use her recipe often, even here in Moscow). I was so sorry to read that the spark that is Hugh, has gone out. I will be thinking of you all, and will add my prayers to yours. God Bless.
I would like to wish my sincerest condolences to the Martell family during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Please know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Hughie will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Oct./04 Hughie sold us the Osprey after seven years of begging on our part. He said his only wish was that we enjoy it as much as he did. We will and we want to extend an open invitation to all family to come aboard and have a sail or maybe just a "wee" drink to Hughie. Hughie's picture will be forever kept in the Osprey and the name of the boat will always remain "Osprey".
Dear Donna and Herman, Our sympathy goes out to you, re the passing of Hughie. A young life gone too soon. Although we only met him once, it was obvious, the man in your life, was over-flowing with humour, kindness and love, His "Keka" was a very important part of his family, which made him, all the more " Special" His talent and super qualities, will give him a front row seat in heaven, for that we are sure. Wish we could be there. Hugs and kisses May God Bless. Our condolonces to the entire family. Jackie and Gil Joly (Millie's sister)

It is a sad day and a great loss of a great man. My memories of Hughie will always be with me at every festival. I had a lot of fun over the years with Hugh. I would find his camp site to sing him a song and hear him play, I always told him he was my favorite bass player, lots of fun and laughs. My sincere sympathies to his Family.
