Obituary of Claire Sylvia Forgeron

FORGERON CLAIRE SYLVIA�" 60, West Arichat, passed away April 26, 2006, at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston. Born in West Arichat, she was the daughter of the late Hubert George and Margaret Rose (Doiron) Forgeron. She was the President of the Immaculate Conception C.W.L., in West Arichat., and also taught religion to the children of the parish. She was on the Board of Directors of St. Anne's Community and Nursing Care Center, Arichat. She was a member of the Seafarers International Union of Canada, and was a Canadian Chief Cook on the Lake Boats. Sylvia was a very active volunteer in the community. She is survived by her sister Marian Smith (Roger), Pictou; brothers John, ( Lyla) Calgary, Curtis, Halifax, Edwin (Judy), Russell (Donna) both of West Arichat, Basil, Eastern Passage, Blair (Joyce), Arichat. Numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held in the C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat on Friday April 28th from 2-4 & 7-9pm., and on Saturday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 A Service of Remembrance will be held Saturday morning at 11am in the Immaculate Conception Church, West Arichat, with Rev Bruno Ruel officiating. Burial to follow, in the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, West Arichat. Memorial donations may be made to the Strait Richmond Hospital Palliative Care Society, St. Anne's Community and Nursing Care Center or to the Canadian Cancer Society, Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.
