Obituary of Charles Edward Taylor

Taylor, Charles Edward - 85, L'Ardoise passed away peacefully at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston on July 31, 2010. Born in L'Ardoise, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Burns) Taylor. Charlie is the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by nieces, Maggie, Port Hood, Doreen, L'Ardoise, Jeanette and Hazel both of Halifax; nephews, Hilary, Jerome, Clifford and Alex all of L'Ardoise, Wayne, Mark and Charlie all of Halifax, Edward, St. Peter's; Also surviving Charlie are his very special grand niece Charmaine and grandnephew Jason both of L'Ardoise who were very good to Charlie. He will also be missed greatly by his good friend Eddie Linloff whom he spent many good times and hours with. He was predeceased by sisters, Sarah, Minnie and Sophie; brothers, Peter and Alex; niece Cecille. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in the Holy Guardian Church in L'Ardoise, on Friday August 6, 2010 at 2pm with Rev. Lourusamy Mariadoss officiating. Interment to follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, L'Ardoise.
