It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of Clayton Thomas "Pic" Pellerine - 85, of Port Royal, that occurred at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston on February 26, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Port Felix, he was the son of the late Jeffrey and Marie Madeline (Bond) Pellerine. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Stella Marie (Forgeron); daughters, Judy Ann (Edwin) Forgeron, West Arichat, Linda (David) Campbell, Halifax; son, Terry (Theresa), Hammonds Plains; grandchildren, Joey Sampson, Tanya Snow, Tammy Pelrine, Paul Pelrine, Lisa Way, Jennifer Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon, Hayley, Dylan, Colby, Brandyn, Maddison, Gavin, Abigail, Shalynn; sister, Mathilda (Godfrey) Gaudet, Janvrin's Harbour. He was predeceased by his sisters, Geneva O'Leary, Rita Dorey, Jean Perry; brothers, Walter, Stanley, Clarence, Lawson, Wallace, James. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday morning March 5, 2011 at 11am in the Immaculate Conception Church, West Arichat with Rev Duaine Devereaux officiating. Burial in the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Strait Richmond Hospital Palliative Care Society or to St. Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre.
