Condolences
Nathan you have undefined so much to me and you have went threw so much in your life and you are an undefined to everyone around you. You were so funny and you loved to crack jokes all the time and you were just a amazing person to me and many other people.
I remember the many, many, many Christmas Eve days at Meme Pris and Pepe Hogan's house!! I have to say, those times are probably the best days instilled in my head of our childhood! What a great tradition we had going on! It was a day that I would count down to for about half the year. I remember because we were older then Jordan, Nathan and Lindsay - we wouldn't be QUITE as excited as they were, but all 3 of them have always brought the joy so much more to that day! I remember Nathan probably being the most excited to break into those gifts from Meme and Pepe, and immediately opening the package and all!! It was usually a game of some sorts, and naturally, it just HAD to be played right away. But oh - wait now...compromises had to be made, because Jordan had gotten a game as well...only 1 "big" TV in the living room!
Nathan's bright and cheerful attitude has never subsided him...every time I would see him, he would greet me with a big smile on his face, and a very enthusiastic "HELLO SHERRY"!!! I am sure a lot of those times (especially in the last 4 years), he had a million and one things on his mind, and wasn't feeling so cheerful, but his main attitude showed everyone that he didn't want anyone to feel sorry for him - or to pity him - and his true "Bourque" stubbornness would shine through! THIS is how I will forever remember Nathan!!! Of course his physical being will be missed, but his spirit and personality will live on forever in our hearts. He is at peace now, and I am sure at his service yesterday - he was singing along at the top of his lungs to "Ordinary Day" and for probably the first time in a few years - he's living an "Ordinary Day" for the rest of eternity!
I will be forever grateful to have Nathan as a cousin in my life, and will continue to hold his memory close to my heart! I will never forget that infectious smile and that amazing personality! I have learned so much from him, and can only hope that his wisdom will be a part of every person who had the wonderful opportunity to know him! He will continue to inspire me in ways that no-one else can - and I will be sure to show my thanks to him by remembering those happy times and those great moments shared as a family!
To Nathan's family and friends we wish to express our sincere condolences. Nathan certainly was a brave young man who fought his illness every step of the way. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult and heartbreaking time. May he rest in peace.

One day last Summer, I was enjoying a great day out on the water, beverage in hand, enguaging conversation all around me, and my son Isaac on the helm of our cousin David's boat. It was the yacht club poker run! Who could imagine a better day? Suddenly, from over the horizon, blazed Nathan on his jetski. His smile consumed his face. He was heading in for more gas for the jetski. Full of life and anticipation, his consuming thought was that he had lots of sun left that day. Face in the wind; he was gone again. You inspire us to live without regrets while we're here Nathan. Fair winds and following Seas my young friend. We'll see you out there on the waves some day. Helen, Ronnie, Annette, and family, and Bourque family, our thoughts and hearts are with you. We are deeply sorry for your loss. Billy (and son Isaac) Mauger, British Columbia Margaret Roukens (nee Mauger) Ontario and the Mauger family in Nova Scotia.

Nathan was not just an amazing person but an amazing friend. He was so inspirational and he would make you want to achieve something he thought you could. Never once have I seen him not wanting someone to give up.
I remember when I fist went sailing with cadets that he was one of the fist people that I sailed with. He made me laugh and he was someone who I looked up to. Even with a cane in his hand he was amazing. Going back to cadets he would always dedicate his time to make sure that he'd be apart of training and every other activity we were doing.
For the person Nathan was and for the people he inspired Nathan will always live on and he will never be forgotten He was apart of our Arrow family and it'll be hard to get thought everything without him, but I do know that he'd want us to go on. Rest in Peace Nathan.
Annette, Ronnie and family Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time, may you find comfort in your memories and in each other. Holly LeJeune and family
Nathan is everywhere we turn. He's is our rooms, our minds, our hearts; we can hear his voice and see his movements. The feeling of loss and sadness is always near our hearts. And yet we know he is not gone, only moved to a different dimension along with so many others who predeceased him. We can't wish him back to suffer the way he did. He knew how to live life to the fullest, our memories remind us of that. And we know that he is now living the resurrection to the fullest as well. We know he now rests peacefully in the Lord's loving and tender eternal embrace. In many ways, part of him will live on in all who knew him. Our condolences to the Kehoes and the Bourques. He is a remarkable young man. Rest in Peace till we meet again. xox Brian, Lisa, Nicole, Ben, Emilie & Meme Sophie

Annette, Ronnie, Jordan & Lindsay, Our deepest sympathy on your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this very difficult time.
Dear Ron, Annette & extended family of Nathan: One can only imagine what you parent's are going through at the loss of a child. You will have another angel following you around, his sufferings are now over and he will have more time for all of you. You have done everything humanly possible for Nathan to get better, however, such was not God's plan for your beloved son. There is always a reason behind all the things that happen and, in this case, it just does not seem right that a sixteen year old shoud die so young. As time goes by, you will find out what that reason was. He will no longer suffer and will be showered with God's blessings and eternal happiness. You will always feel that he is nearer to you now that he is safe at home in the Lord's arms. He will take good care of Nathan and of you people as well. I will pray for all of you, that God will give you lots of courage to pursue your journey through this life. Its a mystery that we just don't understand and only our faith can help us through hard times. God will carry you when this phase of your life become more than you can bear. Marie-Louise & Lubin Samson
