Shannon, Charles Leonard , 89 - Arichat, formerly of Martinique, passed away peacefully at his residence in St. Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre, Arichat on September 8, 2011. Born in Martinique, he was the son of the late James and Sophie Irene (Forgeron) Shannon. He is survived by his sister, Martha Jane Briand, Martinique and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Carretha MacDonald and brother Harold. Visitation will take place in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat today from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday morning at 11am in St. Hyacinth Church, D'Escousse with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Burial to follow in St. Hyacinth Parish Cemetery.
