Sampson, Blanche A. of Louisdale

Blanche A. Sampson, age 87 of Louisdale passed away peacefully on December 1, 2018 at the R.K. MacDonald nursing home in Antigonish surrounded by her loved ones. She was the youngest child of the late Bennie and Elizabeth (Samson) Marchand of Louisdale. Blanche will be missed by her children and grandchildren. She loved baseball especially the Blue Jays and spending time with her grandchildren. She was always ready for a good time, loved going to garage sales and shopping expeditions. She also enjoyed other peoples cooking especially her son in law Tom. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Abraham Sampson; daughters Delores (Tom) Brannon, Wanda Landry, Gisele James; sons Roy (Darlene), Kenny (Lise). She will be dearly remembered by her grandchildren Amanda, Adam, Christopher, Tyler and Billy; brother Benny Marchand. Blanche was predeceased by her siblings, Narcisse, Helene (Nellie), Ina, Viola, Clarence, Gladys, Francis, Vina, Jean Baptiste, Godfrey, Leonard, Mildred, Emile, Edith, Freda, Priscille.   Visitation will be held in the Glen Sampson Room in Louisdale on Wednesday from 6-9pm. Funeral Mass will take place Thursday morning at 11am in St. Louis Church, Louisdale with Rev. Duncan MacIsaac presiding. Burial to follow in St. Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisdale. A reception will follow the burial in St. Louis Parish Hall, Louisdale. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Louis Parish Cemetery Fund, Louisdale. Special thanks to the staff at the R.K.
