I want to extend my condolences on Helaire’s passing. He and Marina were such gracious and kind people, the best neighbours anyone could wish for. My thoughts are with you all.

My sincere condolences to the family of a great friend Helaire I had the honour and privilege to have really gotten to know him since back when Michel Samson put his name foward as our liberal Candidate for Richmond and being successful because of the hard work Helaire put in with his liberal team in louisdale in the years prior to his relocation to Antigonish I learned a lot about politics from Helaire he was always willing to give me his views on any political subject his love for the liberal party was the same love he had for his family as when ever I visited him he would talk to me so proudly of his children, grand children and other family every time I went in I would speak to him in his first language of French one he was so proud to speak and be spoken too and I would start by testing him out asking him if he know me his reply always was “ well I guess my good buddy Jonathan from petit de Grat I would take him fresh valley apples every time I went down the valley he would always ask me we’re is your mom Darlene and Roy are they here with you i learned so much visiting him he was one smart man in tought me that family always cane first and you help others when needed as you never know when you wouild need someone to help your self to always respect others no matter their political interest as after election night its the people’s voice that decided who was to be elected and we had to except it even if we did not like it agree with it I brought my daughter to see him one day with me he was so happy she couild speak to him in French and was in a acadian school he always told me when I left thank you for your visit “ you made my day “ and make sure you come back to visit which I always did and he was so happy to see me you will be missed dearly my good friend Helaire may you be our guardian angel in haven tell we meet again thank you for your Freindship and Guidance you were one of the best god bless you buddy
Sincere condolences to family and friends. I have fond memories of many visits he made to visit Uncle Arthur. Dad was lucky to have Helaire share a lot of special moments with him. Rest in the peace of Christ.
