Gail Beryl Armstrong - Arichat

Age 49 – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, wife, sister, aunt and dear friend Gail Beryl Armstrong on May 1^st, 2019 at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan on December 26, 1969, she was the daughter of the late Murray Lloyd and Beryl Sylvia (Hogg) Armstrong. Gail will be sadly missed by her husband Gary Boudreau; children Steven Newfield (Christina), Alberta; Alison Newfield (Jesse), St Peter’s; Josh Newfield, Arichat; Crystal (Dennis) Kearney, Cleveland; Shayelle Boudreau, Antigonish; brother Martin Armstrong (Lauren), Manitoba; grandchildren Aria and Isaiah Kearney, Eve and Jerrick Newfield; brother Martin Armstrong (Lauren), Winnipeg; She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Gail was a loving mother and wife of 11 years. She was dedicated to her job and was happiest when she was working with her close friends. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors with the dogs, baking, drama tv shows and the company of others with coffee or tea in hand. She had a great love for her husband Gary who was her biggest support throughout her cancer battle. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held May 8^th from 6 – 9pm in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat. Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Gail will be held May 9th at 11:00 in Our Lady of Assumption Church in Arichat with Rev. Michel Exalant presiding. Burial to take place in Our Lady of Assumption Parish cemetery. A reception will be held following the committal in the Our Lady of Assumption Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family or to Strait Richmond Hospital Palliative Care Society. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Dr. Deroche and other Doctors, Nurses, also to family and friends who visited Gail during her battle with cancer. Your thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.
