Cornelia and family iam saddened by the passing of your father he was a very special man and you can really tell that in the video. I will always remember you, Corn. Over 30 years ago, living right next door to you and Emma and as a child, I was always fascinated by your house! I have fond memories of your little waves to me when you saw me playing in my yard. And I remember Emma being the nicest lady I knew. It's always the little things, isn't it? I remember often wondering what you were working on, but always being too shy to ask.

We were so sad to hear that Cornelius has taken a moonbeam ride and slipped away on his magic carpet - it leaves us with a heavy heart as we send our sincere condolences to Emma, Cornelia, Betty Ann, Estelle and families. What a wonderful and full life Cornelius had - we are so lucky for having had him in our lives - was always so positive and interesting. As a young fella growing up in Arichat, I have many special memories of Cornelius - an elder brother who had the "hots" for Emma but was no match for Cornelius, the workshop that was a warm and welcome stop as I trudged back and forth to school, the harmonica playing, his wood making skills, the wooden Canadian honker he gave me many years ago that travelled around the world and still flaps proudly in our garden in Western Australia. He was a national treasure and missed greatly.

Corneila, please accept our deepest sympathy at the loss of such a wonderful man. He certainly lived a good long life and will be missed by not only family but his many friends. Dear Cornelia, John-Willie and all the family: My heart breaks for each one of you. Your dad/grandfather was always so kind to me when I'd see him at your home in Kempt Road and I know Brennen thought the world of him. I know how much he meant to you. My neighbour as a child. I would always go in his workshop. he use to make wooden carvings, of the smurfs etc. His work was awesome, always admired it. He could make anything. Him and his wife Emma were always so sweet. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
