Obituary of Michael Thomas Kehoe
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Thomas Kehoe at his home in Rocky Bay on July 8, 2019 at the age of 68 after a courageous battle with Cancer. Born December 20, 1950 in Arichat, he was the son of the late Ethelbert and Mary Edna (Bowen) Kehoe. An electrician by trade, Michael worked most of his life in construction. He ended his career with the Canadian Coast Guard, retiring after 19 years of service in MCI Atlantic, December 2018. He will be sadly missed by his wife Dianne of 40 years; sons Nicholas Lawrence (Dawn), Sackville, Nelson Ethelbert, Elmsdale; grandchildren Nathan and Ruby; brothers, George (Claire), Rocky Bay, Lauchie (Cathy Cotton), Rocky Bay, Dennis (Sharon), Kentville; sisters, Cecily Maltby, Rocky Bay, Carol Joly (Ron), Innisfil, Ontario, Jane Dorey (Brian), Rocky Bay. Visitation will be held on Friday July 12, 2019 at C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home Ltd. in Arichat from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday morning July 13, 2019 at 11am at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Arichat with Father Michel Exalant presiding assisted by Father Dan Doucet. Burial to follow in St Hyacinth Cemetery in D’Escousse. Memorial donations can be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society. A reception will be held following the committal at the Rocky Bay Irish Club. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat.
