Uncle Carl,I’m sorry that I never got to say good bye to you ,there is no excuse ,but sometimes life gets in the way,so I know you would not have wanted ,to live the life of suffering in the end ,,you were like me ,no suffering,so I know that you are with the angels ,as you so deserve ,you were a great dad,a great uncle ,and both mom and I and my sisters Marlene and Lisa ,can’t believe your gone,it’s too late now ,I regret not seeing you more often ,but that’s my problem ,I have to deal with that ,you always were my favourite uncle ,but I just didn’t do enough about it ,so I will see you again in the after life and we will make up for lost time ,love Earl Scanlan
Thanks Carl for all the advice when I was looking for someone to care for my Dad. I will miss seeing you on my visits to Arichat and our chats over coffee and a sweet treat. You always made me feel welcome when I dropped in to say hello. May you rest in peace and say hi to my mom and dad for me. I remember coming to the garage with dad when I was just a little girl. To the family left behind to grieve the loss of a man so known and like may you find comfort in the arms of Jesus one day at a time. My heart and prayers go out to each of you. God Bless!
