Obituary of Mary Francine Jollymore

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary “Francine” Jollymore, age 78 of West Arichat, that occurred at her home in West Arichat on May 11, 2020 after her battle with Cancer. Born August 17, 1941 in Arichat, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Alcide and Eva (Richard) Marchand. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Joseph Allister Jollymore; daughters, Darlene Orosz, and Charlene Allen, both of Ontario; grandchildren, Nathan and Alicia Stevens; great grandson, Logan Stevens; brothers, Venard (Patsy) Marchand, Louisdale, Bernard (Diane) Marchand, Scarsborough, Ontario; sisters, Edith Samson, Alderney Point, Delia Samson, Arichat, Etta (Mark) Boudreau, Port Hawkesbury, Evangeline Boudreau, Petit de Grat. Besides her parents, Francine was predeceased by her daughter Caroline in infancy; brothers, Alfred, Velma, Arthur, Francis, Venere; sisters, Lucille Samson, Clarisse David, Lorraine Richard, Agnes DeCoste. Cremation has taken place. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and to comply with the recommendations around social distancing, the funeral will be postponed and further notice will be provided when appropriate. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Caner Society or to the Acadiaville Cemetery Society in West Arichat. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C. H.
