Dear Mary, Diane, Mary Rose, Alex, Lowell, Claire and all the members of Russell's family:

Not being particularly known for ever being short of words, I am however at a loss to express how sad I was to learn of my cousin Russell's passing. He was such a fine example of what a human being should be - loving, caring, kind, compassionate, respectful, loyal, polite. It would be very difficult to find a more caring son and brother, devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and loyal friend. I pray that your many wonderful memories will help you through this most difficult period, and that the passing of time will help to ease the pain you must be feeling.

May Russell forever rest in peace in the arms of the angels, and may his memory be a blessing to all those who knew and loved him.

Loved having chats with Russel, in his garden, whenever passing through his and Mary’s driveway, on our way to the wharf or the store. Even when talking to kids, Russel always made time to ask about our day and see how we were doing. He was very thoughtful and kind in that way.
