It is with sadness that the family of Mary Denise Boudreau announces the sudden passing of their sister at home in Arichat on April 23, 2021 at the age of 63 years. Born in Arichat, she was the youngest daughter of the late Lawrence Fredrick and Mary May (Martell) Samson. She leaves to mourn her passing sisters, Evelyn Samson (Omer), Petit de Grat, Ella Samson (Chester), D’Escousse, Mina Deveau, Arichat, Shirley Martell (Jacques), Ethel Dorey (Paul), both of West Arichat, Linda Boudreau (Vernie), Petit de Grat; brothers, Harold (Marie), Petit de Grat, Mark (Brenda), Arichat; several nieces, nephew.
Besides her parents, Denise was predeceased by her husband, David Willard Boudreau, niece, Laurie Ann Samson.
Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be celebrated in the Star of the Sea Cemetery in Petit de Grat on Thursday, April 29th at 11am, with Rev. John Baptiste DeCoste presiding.
Memorial donations can be forwarded to the Star of the Sea Cemetery Fund, Petit de Grat or to St. Anne Centre in Arichat.
