Condolences
My sincerest condolences to your whole family - I fondly remember Freddy coming to the house and visiting yours - Dad and Freddy's conversations were always lively. Their love of gardening was a great bond. He was a wonderful man and fully committed to his community. Take care, Louise Boudreau (of Cyril & Pauline)

sending our deepest sympathy to the family of the late Freddie Martell.
He was a special man, a funny guy full of love and always sharing a smile.
Thanks for your service, which you were so proud of.
He was proud of all his family. He used to travel to the schools when Remembrance Day rolled around.
The Corner Bridge was one of his favorite stops joking around with the girls and Dean.
RIP Freddie you will be sadly missed by all who were lucky to have known you ,.
You are finally with the love of your life Delta.

Condolences to the Martel family for the loss of your dad. I did not know him personally but reading the obituary brought a strong sense of understanding of who Freddie was and how much he will be missed. Special hugs to Carolyn Martel from Lucio Di Davide and family in Ontario. May God keep his soul joyful and your memories keep him alive in your hearts! Amen.
My heart is completely broken, my life forever changed…Heart broken for Freddie’s family for they have to say goodbye to this great human being, my life changed because I got to spend so much time with him over the past 7ish years, got to hear how much he loved his family, his many stories of the military years, fishing years and his great love for his wife(Delta). Please accept my gratitude for allowing me that time with him, I will forever remember him as “ My Sunshine “.
May you all take great solace in knowing he loved you all and he is at peace with his one true love … who I am so sure was waiting for him with open arms….
REST IN PARADISE SWEET MAN…
Our deepest Condolences to family and friends may he RIP

Thinking of you and offering condolences to you all.

Martell cousins, you can all take heart in knowing that both your parents loved you unconditionally and left each one of you with valuable lessons. Everyone at Canso Ford knew Freddie, he was a tough negotiator and always wanted the "family deal" because I was a relative. What I will always admire about Freddie is that he never forgot his Rockdale roots and never missed an Acadian Festival where he connected with all his friends. A well deserved rest as he reconnects with Delta and family members awaits him at the entrance to heaven's door.
